As a hands-on owner, nothing is more important to Ted Cligrow than exceeding the expectations of his customers. After achieving a BSBA and MBA Cligrow worked 15 years for Sherwin-Williams as a Human Resources Manager, Sales Manager, and Plant Manager where he was charged with the operations and supply chains managing $250-mil in annual sales. He knows intuitively, through education, and from personal experience, that success boils down to treating customers and staff with the respect they deserve. Additionally, after seeing illegal and unscrupulous business practices in the local home remolding industry, Cligrow has become a tireless consumer advocate working to protect not only his own customers, but also any and all consumers considering home exterior remodeling projects.
Cligrow has lived in the area for more than a decade, is an alumna of the Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce Leadership Grand Strand Class 30, the Myrtle Beach Citizens Police Academy, and is an active member of the Coastal Carolina Better Business Bureau (Accredited A+), Horry-Georgetown Home Builders Association, South Carolina Home Builders Association, and the National Association of Home Builders. Cligrow and Carolina Home Exteriors are actively involved with area Chambers of Commerce, including: Myrtle Beach Area, Brunswick Country, Georgetown County Area, and Conway. Cligrow also belongs to the Coastal Carolina Association of Realtors. Cligrow volunteers his time as a board member and past board President for Habitat for Humanity of the Grand Strand.
Ted Cligrow, following the “golden rule,” is honest, forthright, and open in his day-to-day professional life. He’s the kind of owner with whom he likes to do business; arriving early, staying late, and remaining readily available to staff and customers, giving full attention to detail including personal job site visits.
