As the coronavirus pandemic seizes our nation, we are dedicated to serving our communities in the safest and most efficient way possible.
The construction industry has had major setbacks and delays in their material production as a result of the pandemic. Some of our manufacturers have recently announced that product availability has more than quadrupled their original delivery estimates.
In other words, what historically took 4 weeks to produce may take as long as 16 weeks. This disruption is evidenced in DIY big box stores, such as Lowe’s Home Improvement and Home Depot, whose shelves are barren. We are staying on top of the factors in our direct control to best service our customers.
We will remain steady in our commitment to delivering a product that exceeds your expectations. Our team will continue to monitor updates regarding the pandemic, and to prioritize our customers’ safety and concerns. COVID-19 Operations FAQ
Is Carolina Home Exteriors open during COVID-19?
Our showroom in Murrells Inlet continues to operate during normal business hours, with accommodations for guidelines set by OSHA, the CDC, and South Carolina state ordinances.
We persist in “building your space while keeping ours”, and as such follow the below guidelines:
- Washing our hands often
- Avoiding close contact
- Wearing masks to cover our mouths and noses when others are around
- Cleaning and disinfecting surface regularly
- Monitoring the health of our employees daily
What if my project has not started?
We are maintaining our scheduling as much as possible during these uncertain times. Unfortunately, we and our fellow construction businesses have seen significant ongoing delays in the manufacturing and delivery of our products and materials. As we continue to adjust our timelines accordingly, you can be confident that our team will keep you updated on the status of your project as we get more information.
What if my project is in process?
